Continuing the IDS tradition of supporting local charities during the Christmas season, we donated $300 each to Healing Waters, Immanuel Services and DeAnn's Paass Kids, with our thanks for the work they do in the community. An encore performance of All I Want For Christmas Is You was well received. Delicious turkey and ham dinners with all the fixings were provided by Thomas Catering. After-dinner activities included Christmas Trivia, handily won by Vicki Wood. In the Ugly Sweater contest, Vicki Wood won for Ugly, Aida Lugo for Uglier, and Remy Seda for Ugliest. David Johnston guessed the exact number of candy kisses in a jar, which earned him the 225 candy kisses in the jar. Following the gift exchange, we did what we do — dance. Ticket sales for our April 5 and 6 production, Dance Rhythms, will take place next month. We will be in the Main Clubhouse Lobby Monday through Friday, 9 am to 2 pm, the week of March 10 and again the week of March 17. Tickets are $15 pp, table seating. Come see us early for best seat selection. Ugly sweater winners Aida, Remy and Vicki W. Sweater Girls "Jean's Tappers" as well as "Tip Top Tap" dancers, including "the infamous" Lloyd Friedman, Comedian/ Singer, who "dropped by" are now in practice mode to perform in this year's Sun Lakes Follies this coming October.
