4 SOLERA DIAMOND VALLEY | MARCH 2025 I've Been thinking… By Tyler Barber, Assistant General Manager Believe it or not, I do think. I constantly think of more ways to improve; more ways to be efficient; more ways to impress. Right now, I have my eyes on the prize- Lifestyles. I believe I can be a great asset to this Community and the events held here. However, this is where the thinking comes in. As sorry as I am to say this, I am significantly younger than many of you. It makes creating a unique and pleasant experience somewhat difficult. BUT, I have been thinking of some ideas that seem intriguing and some ideas that have not been done very much, or at all. It will be trial and error, but I will find it out. e Recreational Advisory Committee will be of great use as well, as they provide insight into my ideas and provide their own. Together, we will host entertaining and fulfilling events for this Community. My objective is to invite some of you out of hiding. I have been here at Solera Diamond Valley for three years now, and yet each event has familiar faces, which of course is not an issue, but unfamiliar faces are just as nice. I have learned that this Community will receive you well. Many will enjoy your company just as they do others.' Hopefully, we all can experience these new events together! e Veterans Club is holding their BBQ Fundraiser on March 8 in the Lodge. is event will raise funds to support local veterans and those in need in our community. is is a western themed event so prepare to join in an evening of fun! $25 per person includes: • Smoked Pulled Pork or a Cornish Game Hen with all of the fixin's. • Western Saloon with Beer and Cocktails for purchase • Line Dancing in the ballroom • Photo Booth with Solera Diamond Valley Ranch dropback • e Sheriff will be at the ranch – put someone in jail e Veterans Club awarded over $10,000 last year to help local veterans and others in need in our community. is event is a first for us and we hope you can participate to allow even more assistance this year to those in need. Over 99 percent of funds donated goes directly to local needs. Some of the recipients we awarded money to last year were Hemet Community Pantry, Veterans resource center at Mt. San Jacinto, Quilters Club for Quilts of Valor, Homes for our Troops, Wreaths placed for our fallen Veterans. Hurry y'all! Registration closes March 4!
