Some recent work from the Mudslingers If you have a mess like this at home, we can help! Come on by, we are great detanglers! Our February project was a big hit, as our monthly Make 'n Takes usually are. We decorated wooden birdhouses in a Valentine them, but of course everyone gave their houses their own personal spin. From multi-unit birdhouses (bird condominium?) with addresses for each entrance portal, to a house with a tin roof, we so enjoyed the big reveal as we all presented our handiwork. I envision a birdhouse for every season. We welcomed a new member to our group, Chris Fredrickson. She is new to Sun Lakes and is an avid crafter. She has already settled into our Paper Crafting group quite comfortably. So happy you have joined us, Chris! St. Patrick's Day is coming up soon, which gives us the opportunity to design more fun items for our homes, or as gifts for others. April brings an abundance of possibilities for creative ventures to explore. Bunnies, f lowers, Easter baskets, and chicks can all be easily integrated into springtime projects. When we are not involved with our monthly projects, we always have our scrapbooks, cards, books, and tags to work on. The sorting of photographs is a constant chore. Cross stitching, crocheting, beading, and other crafts are familiar sights at our meetings. We gather weekly on Mondays from 1 to 3 pm in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. Exception: the time changes for the second Monday only, which is 11 am to 1 pm – March 10 this month. We meet five times in March. The dates are March 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31. The second Thursday of every month is reserved for our birthday luncheon, which will be on Thurs., March 13 at 11:30 am. Lunch will be in the Main Clubhouse Restaurant, unless otherwise notified. Paper Crafting 28 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | MARCH 2025 | Fiber Artists Our club meets every Monday in the North Clubhouse at 12:30 pm except on the third Monday of the month when we meet at 11:30 am. On the second Monday we swap materials and share our stash. On the third Monday we share completed projects, and on the last Monday we share a potluck lunch. Mudslingers Mudslingers continue to play in the mud on Wednesdays from 3 to 6 pm and Fridays from 9 am to 12 pm in the Arts & Crafts Room. Come by and visit.
