6 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | MARCH 2025 | 2025 SUN LAKES COUNTRY CLUB BOARD OF DIRECTORS CANDIDATE STATEMENTS GLADYS "SUE" SAVAGE My name is Gladys "Sue" Savage. As a former Hemet City Treasurer and current Banning City Treasurer, I am aware of the importance of monitoring our HOA dollars to get the best outcome for all owners. To keep our restaurant operational and our golf course private, from my first day, I will work with other HOA board members to best manage our revenue and expense streams. Our monthly Treasurer's Report shows we do not have enough money to pay our bills! From the first day, I would encourage the board to consider investments earning a higher interest rate than is currently earned vs the 4.3% available to organizations such as ours. This higher interest rate would help pay our bills over time! From my first day, I will be committed to being visible, approachable and a "Voice" for all Sun Lakes Residents. I am willing to challenge the status quo, believing Sun Lakes Country Club should be continually evolving. EVERYONE should be heard, ALL the people who live here, in addition to the special interest groups. I will hold FirstService Residential Management Company responsible for lawful and effective management. My answer to self-management is "NO, thank you"! I oppose warehouses near our homes. I will strive to maintain the beauty of our private golf courses, along with our common areas and facilities. Since arriving in Sun Lakes, I joined Garden Club, Bocce Ball, Bridge, Canasta, Young at Heart, and Friendship Clubs. I often volunteer for the Sun Lakes Chorale. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Regis University. I worked in the airline industry doing systems analysis in fares and pricing; started my own contracting business working with United, Delta, US Air, and IBM. I've been married 54 years to my husband, Pat. In May 2022, we moved to Sun Lakes and believe we live in a little slice of heaven. I believe in mutual trust and respect between all of us. I ask you for your vote to make Sun Lakes better. Without your vote, nothing will change.
