| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | MARCH 2025 | 33 REMINDER: Our March event is scheduled for March 1 and will feature Tin Man's Heart. Our Sun Lakes Charity Tea Party was held in the South Clubhouse for February, so we didn't have a gathering in February. I understand the tea party was a huge success so that was great news! The 80s Club is for our Sun Lakes residents near or over 80 years of age along with their guests, no matter their ages. Our events are on the first Saturday of the month and begin at 3 pm. They include a brief meeting, then entertainment and meals begin between 3:30 and 3:45 pm. Each month is very close to the capacity at the South Clubhouse so it makes for a very festive and interactive group. Come join us once for the meal price of $20 to see if you might enjoy our group and if you do, you need to join for the second time you attend. Our dues are $10 a year per person. Our meals are $20 per person. The deadline has passed for reservations to our March event. We're always at the South Clubhouse, people begin arriving at 2:30 pm to get checked in and get their seats, and the program starts at 3 pm. I know people like to arrive early and I truly hate to leave them waiting in the hallway but it is difficult for the volunteers to do their set up and decorations while attendees are sitting at the tables. Therefore, we will be unable to allow any entrance before 2:30 pm or before we've completed the decorating process, whichever is soonest. Please make your checks out to 80s Plus Club. Don't forget your money for the 50/50 which has been a huge success. It is also important to mention that if you have not already paid your annual dues of $10 per person, it is time to pay for 2025.
