| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | MARCH 2025 | 65 Our Hometown Rally was a success. We were treated to a new game called Card Bingo. Bob and Teresa Solomon-Billings oversaw the game, which had everyone enjoying it with their "woo-hoos!" and knocking of the tables. The buffet was provided by El Polo Loco. Sunday had the group playing Bocce Ball then enjoying a potluck dinner followed by board games to close out the evening. We have our annual Yuma trip planned for March 23 to 30. This is a non-sanctioned trip, meaning there are no Trail Bosses or committee to arrange things. This is a fun-filled trip with outings and games almost everyday. If you're interested in joining us, call Fortuna Del Oro at (928) 342-5051, tell them you're part of the Sun Lakes group and they'll try to get you located with the group. In May we go to Sun Outdoors Central Coast Wine Country from May 4 to 9. There are a number of wineries there to keep our wine connoisseurs happy. There will be activities to keep everyone busy. Call (925) 334-1349 to make your reservations, and make sure you tell them you're with our club. Trail Bosses are Dan and Lupe Cardella. On July 29 we will be having a summer potluck; more to follow as we get closer to the event. Don't forget our trip to Jackson Rancheria, in Jackson, California. The dates are Sept. 28 to Oct. 3. The group went there several years ago and everyone speaks highly of the campsite and surrounding area. If you don't go on any other of our trips, don't miss out on this one.
