Travel Group Update: Exciting Adventures Await! We're thrilled to announce that our travel group is back in full swing! Last month's meeting was a huge success, with great attendance and we had a fantastic trip. It was a memorable experience — fun, educational, and full of adventure. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it such an enjoyable outing. This month, we're setting our sights on an equally exciting destination: Griffith Park and the Observatory. Who doesn't love wandering through the beautiful grounds, taking in the stunning views, and enjoying the captivating films shown inside? It's a perfect blend of exploration, learning, and relaxation. At this month's meeting, we'll also welcome a special guest speaker, Will Reese from World Premier Travel. Will has some incredible travel opportunities to share with us, and the best part? These amazing trips don't even require you to leave the country. Whether you're looking for scenic landscapes, cultural experiences, or relaxing escapes, he's got something for everyone. Looking ahead to 2025, our group has some fantastic trips in the works. Even better, you don't have to be a group member to join our trips — though being a member does have its perks. Members are notified of trips before anyone else, ensuring you get the first chance to reserve your spot. If you'd like to become a member, we'd love to have you. It's easy to join — just come to our next meeting on March 15 at 10 am in the Ballroom and sign up. There are no dues or fees to join, so don't miss out on being part of our vibrant travel community. For membership info, email irenewelker50@gmail.com. Be sure to write "member" in the subject line and include your phone number. In addition to a day at the movies to see Flight Risk, the Singles celebrated several birthdays at Market Broiler in Riverside and Vasques in Hemet. They also attended a great program at ESRI featuring a very talented teenage classical guitarist. So, 2025 looks to be filled with many more fun outings. If you're single and would like to join us for outings like these, we meet on the first Friday of the month at 6 pm in The Lodge Arts & Crafts Room. ~ Phyllis Kates We were on the edge of our seats as we watched "Flight Risk" at the 2nd Street Cinema. e Singles attended LifeHouse eater's magical production of Peter Pan.
