44 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MARCH 2025 Hello, my line dance family. I hope you're all doing well. My healing process is progressing well. I am anxious to get back on the dance f loor. In the meantime, I hope you're enjoying the dance selections Martha is providing. I really appreciate her stepping up to the task. It shows how we respect and support each other in our line dance community. Hang in there for me. Temporary Line Dance Schedule: Tuesday class – still dark; Wednesday class – March 5 and March 19, 3:30 to 4:30 pm in the Ballroom. Here is a little line dance humor. I do not own the rights to the information. Enjoy! DECODING THE LANGUAGE OF DANCE INSTRUCTORS What the Instructor says vs. What the Instructor means: 1. Have you got it? You haven't got it. 2. Let's try that again. You haven't got it 3. One more time. We're doing it again a couple of times. 4. Last time. We're doing it a couple of times. 5. Let's do it with music. We'll be here forever otherwise. 6. It's a 16-count intro. I'll count it for you as usual. 7. The music will tell you the tags and restarts. It won't – I will need to remind you. 8. Let's try it to a practice track. You need to practice. 9. Do you want to do it again? We're doing it again. 10. You did really well. We genuinely mean this – thanks for your support! What the Instructor says vs. What the Dancer thinks: 1. Have you got it? Nope. 2. Let's try that again. Thank God. 3. One more time. Thank God. 4. Last time. Oh s---. 5. Let's do it with music. Oh deep s---. 6. It's a 16-count intro. Eh? 7. The music will tell you the tags and restarts. Eh? 8. Let's try it to a practice track. Phew! 9. Do you want to do it again? Not really, but I bet we have to. 10. You did really well. Love hearing that. Have a wonderful month! ~ Priscilla Robles, (909) 239-6464 Heart & Soul Line Dance The Let's Dance group is doing something different and special this year in how you're taught to dance. We're learning a dance in sequences, something like learning a line dance, only with a partner. Each month a dance you can do with any partner at social functions will be taught. Not only is it more fun, but both partners can help each other learning new dance moves. Dance is a great way to exercise and improve your brain. Plus, it's fun to learn new things to share with your partner for a lifetime. Couples and singles at all skill levels are welcome. We have something for everyone. We meet every Monday at 6 pm in the Ballroom. It's best to start early in the month as we build on the material over time. There is a cost of $10 per person for professional instruction. We are planning some outside dance events and would love to have you join us.
