There was no Italian American Club meeting in February because
of the damage to The Courts Multipurpose Room. The damage
has been reviewed and, as we said last month, the bids have been
submitted to the insurance company.
The insurance company accepted the bid and has cut an initial
check for our repairs. Our contractor is working with the city of
Beaumont on the necessary permits for the repairs. Once all the
paperwork is approved, our construction company will begin the
repairs.
At the time of the writing of this article, there isn't a date available
for the completion of the construction by our contractor, so at this
time, it is not known if the March Italian American Club meeting
will be held.
As soon as we get a date of completion for the repairs at The
Courts, we will update the club on the next meeting date and time.
The Italian American Club consists of residents of Four Seasons of
all backgrounds and is open to all residents. You do not have to be
Italian to join our group and have some fun! We would like you to
come and join us when our meetings start again.
Watch for the information regarding the Italian American Club in
the Daily Report and in the Breeze magazine. ~ Barbara Dipoma,
