FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MARCH 2025 65
Duplicate Bridge
The Four Seasons Duplicate Bridge is on a role!
We doubled our attendance in February from two
table in January to four tables. Of course, even
though we had a nice game, it would be even better
to have five or even more [!] tables.
There may be changes to the frequency of sessions
in March, but, as I write this snipped, the plan is to
meet March 8 at 10 am.
If you've played "party bridge" and are interested
in a more formal (and some say, enhanced), but
still fun, form of Contract Bridge, please join us.
You don't have to have played duplicate before; the
mechanics are easy to learn and we're all ready to
help you.
I do have an email group to keep residents
informed of our activities; if you'd like to have your
name included, send a message to kafreyer@frontier.

Rummikub
Rummikub (rummy cube) is one of the most popular games in
the world. It is a tile-based game for two to four players combining
elements of the card game rummy and mahjong. Rummikub was
invented in the 50s by Ephraim Hertzano, a Romanian-born Jew. He
had made the first sets with his family in the backyard of his home
and sold them door to door. Over the years, the family licensed it to
other countries. In the 1970s, it was brought to the United States. We
welcome you to come and join us on Mondays from 2 to 4 pm in The
Lodge Game Room. It's no problem if you have never played before.
We love to teach! If you have any questions, call me, Sherry Mounts
at (323) 810-0632.
