In January, the Crown Divas gathered with the usual energetic salutations. We enjoyed a continental breakfast and pleasant conversations.
Then it was time to start the meeting. The Queen welcomed everyone and told the Divas what the focus would be in the agenda. First
she asked each officer to describe in detail what their officer position entails. She asked if any officers would like to step down from their
positions. Two officers said yes they would. Then she asked if anyone would like to be considered for becoming an officer for the position
now available. There were Divas who said they would like to be considered for a particular position. Next on the agenda was who would
volunteer to be drivers when needed, volunteer for setting up or taking down decorations, researching places for excursions, or making
reservations. Who would like to be in charge of raff les, buying the gifts, or making the gift baskets? Who would like to coordinate the
decorations, food, and beverages for our luncheons? Not surprising, the number of volunteers was overwhelming. The caring and helping
along with the camaraderie is what makes us who we are: a sisterhood named the Crown Divas. Our calendar this year is already filled
