FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MARCH 2025 7 Happy March Four Seasons! This is going to be a great month and I can't wait to tell you about it! First, back by popular demand, we have piano player extraordinaire Harold Hinkle playing in the Ballroom with singer Dan Hazeltine. We had so many people clamoring for a Pasta and Piano Night again, that we have set aside the first Thursday of each month (except for May, June, and July which have conf licts). This month the date is March 6 from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. Everyone is welcome and there's no cost to attend and you can BYOB. Next, we have the ever-engaging Karen Belcher with a "One Hit Wonders" name that tune. This event is usually packed and tables have such a good time playing against each other for prizes. This will take place on Friday, March 7. The doors open at 5:30 pm and the game starts at 6 pm. You are welcome to bring your dinners and beverages in on this event as well. Come on down and join the fun! Karaoke is going to be early this month on Saturday, March 8 at 5 pm in the Ballroom. Bring a song, a friend, and some liquid courage if you need it. It's a lot of fun with friendly folks, so give it a try or just be an encourager in the audience. If you still are open to adding a few valuable interests into your life this year, be sure to check out our Committee and Club Fair on Friday, March 14 from 10 am to 1 pm in the Ballroom. People from most of our committees will be there to introduce you to what they do to assist the association. Resident involvement is critical to the workings of this tiny government and you might be just the person we've all been waiting for. There are also so many fascinating clubs, groups, and classes to expand your horizons. There's everything from sports, to exercise, to photography, to multimedia art, to card and bunco groups … you name it, we've got it! You'll meet the nicest people and really have a sense of what true community is. See you there! If you were one of the cool kids of the 60s, Sally White is having a "Singin' the 60s with Sally and Stan" event on Sunday, March 16 in the Ballroom at 6 pm. Come ready to remember and sing some nostalgic, great music, even if you are older or younger than the 60s, you'll remember these classic, finger-snapping songs, so come out and sing your heart out! March is that time again for the Spring Craft Boutique on Saturday, March 22 from 9 am to 2 pm. I absolutely love the amazing work done by these crafters, bakers, wood-workers, candy makers and so much more! I get my most unique and unusual gifts from these folks and my loved ones receiving these gifts are always so impressed! The other element that makes this Craft Boutique so exciting is that everyone receives a free ticket with the possibility of winning one of the 65 gifts we're giving away during the Boutique. The next Craft Boutique won't be until October, so you better get it while you can! Finally, one of my favorite events this year happens on Saturday, March 29 starting at 6 pm, "Corks, Clicks and Canvases." This is another one of the 20th Anniversary events. It's kind of like an Art Gallery showing with multi- media art images of the community by our very own artists as well as incredible resident photographic art. We will have a beautiful appetizer and dessert table and the Wine Club has offered to help with the "Corks" part of this event by offering wine pours. You are welcome to BYOB if you like. We will also be hearing the beautiful live jazz sounds of the Smooth Combo band. There will be a few tables out for people to sit down, but it's more of a gallery-opening vibe.
