March brings us Daylight Saving Time, which begins on Sun., March 9, so set those clocks forward on Saturday night. is ocial date has nally arrived. Aer these long and cold evenings, this is a welcome sight for those of us that would rather be outdoors until 8 pm. As spring begins and the activities increase with warmer weather, please add a reective vest to the wardrobe when active. We do have reective vests available to purchase at the Front Desk. Be sure to keep pets safe along the Leisure Village 2.0 route allowing them to stay o the Clubhouse grounds unless the pet is considered a "service animal." Our Fitness Consultant, Cheryl Schindler, is available to me with on the fourth Saturday of each month from 2 to 4 pm. She can provide more information regarding the use of the Hoist Equipment in the Weight Room and the Cardio Equipment in the Cardio Room. Cheryl will be here on March 22, and she is also available for individual consultation; this can be arranged with Cheryl directly. Please be sure to sign a waiver at the Front Desk if visiting the Fitness Center for the rst time. Wear appropriate athletic attire and carry a towel. Residents Only when using the equipment. Caregivers and trained personnel are welcome to assist when necessary. e Recreation Department is planning for our annual "Spring Eggstravaganza" on Sat., April 19 at 10 am. A yer is found within this publication. e sta enjoy putting this activity together for the children of OHCC. Over the years, so many families have made this holiday tradition part of their weekend plans. If we get lucky, the weather will cooperate with our age-appropriate egg hunts, bounce houses, a Lanai full of refreshments, and the presence star of the show "Hip Hop" the Bunny. e sta will be dispensing three to four thousand eggs in the wee early morning hours, with "Hip Hop's" help, of course! Nametags, 2025 Directories, Vests, and Golf Bag Tags can be obtained by coming by the Clubhouse. e yer racks on Information Hallway continue to keep residents well-informed of the daily activity. e Association website: oceanhillscountryclub. com can provide a wealth of knowledge to new residents. Part of being informed includes asking questions, attending Master Board Meetings, joining clubs, and looking for ways to volunteer. e 2025 new year is o to a terric start and this ship will certainly sail with or without you. ere is so much in life to do and get done, you are the only one that can make that happen.
