| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | MARCH 2025 | 23
March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb. We are
only a few weeks from the rst day of spring on March 20. March
represents new growth. e Golden Girls are also in full bloom.
Our January and February meetings have had a full house with
25-30 members with four new members just last month. We are
growing in leaps and bounds starting o 2025!
At our last meeting we were given three frogs — yes frogs —
okay they were plastic. We had such laughs trying to leap our
frogs into a bowl. e talent went to Team B and winner went
to Paulette Deerios for getting all three of her frogs in the bowl.
Just some of the crazy fun things we do during our meeting to
keep it light and fun.
In February, 17 members went on a eld trip to the Safari
Wild Animal Park in Escondido, followed by a lunch at a local
restaurant in Escondido.
On the second Friday of the month at 1 pm, we gather in e
Lodge Game Room for a variety of fun games and of course lots
of laughs.
Our member, Linda Elliott, will continue to be our liaison
with the local Haven Pet Center. Our club supports the center
with supplies and blankets that we sew into squares to make the
animals comfortable and warm. We also presented a check of
$100 as a donation to the Pet Center.
e March calendar is lling up with great activities for the
month. Look for us to announce new and fun events in the
coming months.
Our door is always open to welcome you. Our next meeting will
be March 24 in the Ballroom at 1:30 pm. Please join us to meet
and greet.
