| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | MARCH 2025 | 31 Horseshoes Shuffleboard I am starting my article with sad news to our Shueboard Group. Mike Garrett, at le, passed away the end of December. Mike was an accomplished player; he played throughout the country and was ranked a top player. Mike and his shueboard partner, Jim Gates, won rst place in our league six consecutive years. He will be missed. Our prayers go out to his family and friends. Our season is over but we have a small group that plays at 9 am on most Mondays and Fridays just for fun and practice. Come join us. You can always play on your own. Stop by the front desk and they will set you up.
