18 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | APRIL 2025 | April 2025 is set to be an exciting and vibrant month, brimming with new beginnings. We are excited to welcome the Compass Team AKA, CCL Hospitality Group to Sun Lakes. Many of you had the opportunity to meet them on March 10 when they were introduced and mapped out their plans. If you didn't have the opportunity to attend, I hope you watched it on channel 97. Their entire team, along with Chef Joshua and his team, are very busy training and preparing to be ready for an official roll out on April 7. Many of your recommendations were discussed; for instance, new happy hours, new menus, celebrity chef visits, new Sandwedge (7 am to 7 pm) and will include a $5 Value Menu, and so much more enhancing all three of our venues. Please keep in mind any change requires some patience. April promises culinary delights with a variety of local, seasonal foods appearing on our menus. Even with enhancements and changes, residents have to participate to make it all work. April 10 is the 100th anniversary of F. Scott Fitzgerald's e Great Gatsby, capturing the Jazz Age. Celebrate this day with a fine dining experience, maybe a split of champagne, mimosa, or one of Angel's special jazzy cocktails including the Easter Peeptini. April 20 is Easter Sunday, one of the most significant holidays in the Christian calendar. We have always been known for our Eggceptionally, Eggstravagant Easter Brunch. Make your reservations at (951) 769- 6654 and plan to be wowed! April 22 is Earth Day; observe the day by enjoying a meal and/or cocktail with friends and neighbors and toast in appreciation for the beauty of our planet. April is also the time cherry blossoms bloom. Celebrate the arrival of spring with one of Angel's incredibly tasty "Cherry Blossom" cocktails. April 21 is The Boston Marathon, one of the oldest and most prestigious marathons in the world. Runners from around the globe gather to test their endurance and experience the camaraderie of this historic race. Watch it with friends at the Sandwedge. This marathon is an inspiring event that embodies the spirit of perseverance. Remember, our dining venues need your support.
