Please join the Yiddish Culture Club as we celebrate Passover with
a Seder meal on Thurs., April 24 at 6 pm in the South Clubhouse. We
will answer the age-old question: "Why is this night different from
all others in the year?"
A full Seder will be conducted recounting the struggle of the
enslaved Jewish people against the Egyptian Pharoah.
Thomas Catering will be providing a dinner of matzo ball soup,
baked chicken, pot roast, roasted red potatoes, green beans with
almonds, and angel food cake with berries and whipped cream.
Readings of the Haggadah will be led by our own members. There
will be a complete Seder plate at every table with bottles of wine,
matzoh, and all ceremonial foods. Additional traditional Passover
songs will be courtesy Perry Goldstein.
Cost is $40 members, $50 non-members — tables of eight people
to be noted on the f lyer if they would like to sit together with checks
submitted together, if possible. Deadline to sign up is Wed., April 9.
Deliver checks made out to the YCC to the home of Denny
Rugenstein at 5052 Hilton Head.
