Springtime Adventures Await: April 14 at Descanso Gardens and More. Spring is officially here, and it's time to embrace the beauty of the season with some exciting trips and adventures. On Monday, April 14, we'll be heading to Descanso Gardens, a true sanctuary of nature. It's the perfect time of year to take a leisurely stroll through the vibrant f lowers and lush greenery. The gardens are in full bloom, offering a peaceful retreat where we can stop, relax, and immerse ourselves in the stunning landscape. From fragrant roses to colorful azaleas, Descanso Gardens provides a breathtaking view of spring's finest offerings. After exploring the gardens, we'll make our way to Pasadena for a delightful lunch. It's a fantastic opportunity to unwind with great company and enjoy some of the finest local cuisine. Whether you're craving a cozy café experience or a more upscale meal, Pasadena has something for everyone, and we're sure you'll love the variety of dining options. Looking ahead to the summer months, we've got an incredible lineup of trips planned. As the temperatures rise, we'll be escaping to cooler coastal destinations. We'll head to Newport Harbor, where you can enjoy the refreshing ocean breeze and stunning views. San Diego is another summer favorite, where you can explore its beautiful beaches, historic sites, and charming neighborhoods. And of course, we can't forget Laguna Beach, with its picturesque coastline and laid-back vibe. These trips will provide the perfect escape when the summer heat gets too intense. Don't forget, we meet every third Saturday of the month at 10 am in The Lodge Ballroom. Whether you're new to the group or a long-time member, we encourage you to join us and discover what exciting adventures we have lined up. Our trips are designed to offer fun, relaxation, and a chance to connect with others who share your love of travel and exploration. Unfortunately, the weather forced the rescheduling of a few planned events. Several upcoming events include the first San Bernardino Symphony concert of the year and LifeHouse Theatre's production of e Count of Monte Cristo. So, 2025 looks to be filled with many more fun outings.
