30 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | APRIL 2025 | We are a friendly group! If you are interested in learning about tennis and getting started playing, or it's been awhile since you last played, please join us. Folks are on the courts most mornings, 9 am in colder weather and 8 am when it's going to get warm! Tennis Club The Bocce Club officially started Sun., March 2, glad to report that we had quite a few new players for this season. Getting the first game started on time with new players requires a quick lesson and on the job training. We started on time and by the end of their game, they were considered good bocce players. As we get into the month of April, the bocce club will get a chance to enjoy our welcome back BBQ with some great food, and share some of their experiences of some of those tough games they encountered. The weather is not always favorable this time of year so we have to be flexible on some of our planning. So far, everyone seems to be enjoying the outdoors and our great friends and neighbors. We will try and keep our bocce players up to date on any game changes. Good luck to all the teams. ~Ross Brunetto, Bocce Chairperson, (951) 926-8295 Bocce "Walk Fit" Low Impact Aerobics: Spring is here, with all its unpredictable weather. But mornings in the Ballroom are comfy-cozy. Why don't you join us "inside" for an early morning walk – low impact aerobics class? There is nothing healthier than getting your body moving and moving is what we do. The class consists of nine different Leslie Sansone "Walk Fit" DVDs. The easy- to-follow routines are set to music with varying tempos. The complete class is four miles, but you can come late or leave early to shorten your routine and work at your own level. A few of the DVDs incorporate resistance bands (always optional). Some class members add light hand weights for added strength training. Stop by and give us a try. New members are always welcome, both men and women! Class Schedule: Mon., Wed., Fri. from 7:45 to 8:45 am in The Lodge Ballroom. The class is FREE! For more information, contact Karen Tuvim at (316) 260-0847. Walk Fit Do you have an interest in learning to play pickleball?
