8 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | APRIL 2025 | Dueling Pianos – It was a Blast! Finding the right entertainment for an event can be challenging. Oftentimes, bands have limited styles and music sets, while DJs have an expansive list of songs, they don't bring the entertainment side as do the likes of Ryan Bueler and the Killer Dueling Pianos. In late February, Killer Pianos brought that entertainment value by playing myriads of songs all by request from the interactive audience over a two and half hour plus concert. We danced, had singalongs and audience competition with a number of popular and familiar songs, from Sinatra and Elvis, to Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga. Let's do it again! Warm-Up Dance: It's called the Warm Up Dance, or the Coming Out Party to shake off the winter doldrums and get ready for the always so much fun the Music on the Plaza Series. The Warm Up will feature our own Four Seasons Band led by Russ Brown and Jim Robo providing the lively sounds. So, dust off your dancing shoes and warm up that booty. The Four Seasons Band is always a fun group with their diverse repertoire of playlists across musical genres to sing and dance. You will enjoy their music. The Warm-Up Dance is on March 29 in the Ballroom. Tickets are $5 per person. Queen is Coming! The Queen Tribute Band, Kings of Queen, will be here for a concert on Sun., June 1. In many circles Kings of Queen is considered the hottest Queen Tribute Band in the country. They have played for numerous venues across the country. What makes The Kings of Queen truly unique is that they are purists in that they do not sing to tracks. All of the music and the vocals that you hear are 100 percent live by the members of The Kings of Queen. The band members who complete The Kings of Queen are guitarist/vocalist Gregg Thompson, bassist/vocalist Mikey LP, pianist/vocalist Joel Case and Drummer/vocalist Joe Turner. Moreover, Emo Alaeddin visually brings Freddie Mercury to life with his mannerisms, movements, costume changes, and looks. Tickets go on sale on Wed., April 16. The concert price is $25 per ticket. Music on the Plaza Series: Four Seasons Activities Director, Tracie Rodgers, again has great bookings for the Music on the Plaza Series. Beginning in April, the bands include Lil'A and All-nighters, the blended sounds of the popular Big Revenge, Nitro Express, two appearances of Idlewild South Band, Four Seasons favorite Lifetime Rocker, and followed by the all-women's band, Pulp Vixens. Big Revenge will also play for the Fourth of July Celebration, and Pulp Vixens will bring their talents to the New Year's Eve Party. Music on the Plaza Series are $35 person for the season, or $5 per person per event.
