30 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MAY 2025 As the weather warms, we have more opportunities to bring our dogs to the Corral to play with their friends. If you have not been to the corral for a few months, Park West did a really good job of filling in the ruts created by last season's rains and packing down the DG. The rain this year caused almost no deterioration. Our scheduled play times until the summer heat starts will be Saturday at 9 am, but we hope you are arranging other play dates with your friends and their registered dogs. It is more enjoyable for our dogs when they have their friends around. If you missed the Haven Pet Vaccination voucher giveaway in March, we still have several vouchers available. Each voucher is good for one dog, and you can obtain vaccinations for rabies, Bordetella, and DA2PP at the Haven Pet Center in San Jacinto. Each vaccine costs $10 with no charge for an office visit. If you have more than one pet, you will need a separate voucher for each one. Contact Barbara Morton, Co-Chair of the Canine Corral Committee, to obtain a voucher. The vouchers do not expire. Thank you to Jeff Shepard, Four Seasons resident and CEO of the Haven Pet Center, for this generous offer to our community. We will be sponsoring another Halloween Pet Costume Parade this year to be held on Friday, Oct. 31, in The Lodge parking lot. There will be a $5 registration fee. First place in each category (small, medium, and large dogs) will receive a $75 gift card from PetSmart. Stay tuned for upcoming announcements on registration dates. Hope to see many of you at the Corral! ~ Lynn Jahnke, lynnj92223@gmail.com Canine Corral Finance Committee The financial statements for February 2025 were reviewed and recommended for Board approval. In addition, we reviewed expenditure proposals for various recommended projects in the community. We also reviewed investment recommendations to move maturing investments to higher-yield, FDIC-insured instruments. Highlights of the February financial statements are: Total cash is $11,308,212 including operating cash funds of $1,880,656 (checking and CDs) and reserve account funds of $9,410,314 and reconstruction funds of $17,242. Our total year-to- date current income is $147,410. Homeowners are welcome to join us at our regularly scheduled monthly meetings on the last Tuesday of each month. Our next meeting is Tuesday, May 27 at 1 pm in the RCN Conference Room. The Finance Committee reviews and discusses many issues that you may have questions about. Residents are welcome to attend one of our meetings to become more familiar with our finances. At the beginning of each meeting, we allow three minutes per homeowner not to exceed 30 minutes in total for comments. If you have any questions, email joleneaudit@gmail.com. ~ Jolene Cooley
