FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MAY 2025 59 Quilting Enthusiasts Happy late spring to one and all. With the rains we had in March and early April, it's amazing seeing all the different spring f lowers blooming, and the amazing greens of the surrounding hillsides. All of these colors are great inspiration for our quilting ladies. It seems that every year the greens on the hillsides get more vibrant than the year before. Last month we had a workshop and as they say "many hands make light work." We had an awesome group of women who came to help "kit" fabric for our 2026 Quilt Show Raff le Quilt. The show is a year and a half away, so the work has begun to ensure that the 2026 Quilt Show will be fabulous. There is a picture of the pattern, which is the "design" of the quilt and an image of the fabrics that will be used to create the stars. There will be more details to follow so be sure to check the Breeze each month for details. We plan on offering another hands-on workshop this summer. So watch this space for details. We welcome all levels of sewers and quilters alike. Quilting doesn't require a fancy sewing machine. There are projects which are done completely by hand. If you would to know more about us, feel free to come to our monthly meeting, held the second Thursday at 1 pm, in The Lodge Arts & Crafts Room 2. Feel free to reach out or email us at 4seasonsquilters@gmail.com, or contact us at (808) 430-7469. ~ Mary M. Moody-Cox Crafty Cardmakers Spring has sprung and the Crafty Cardmakers have been busy making beautiful cards. We make three cards each month. You can customize them to your occasion. If you'd like to join us, we usually meet on the second Friday of each month at 1 pm in The Lodge Craft Room. This month we had a scheduling conflict and changed our meeting to May 2 at 1 pm. If you'd like more info, please contact me. I kindly request that you RSVP to each class by the Wednesday before, so that I make sure to have enough kits for everyone. If you'd like to make the cards, but can't make it to our card-making session, I can get the kits to you with easy-to-follow instructions. I hope you will join us soon. ~ Penny Gadiano, (951) 415-9273 is is the 2026 Rae quilt layout. ese colors are not the colors that are going to be on the actual rae quilt.
