FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MAY 2025 7 This May, we have a very busy schedule of activities. For theater lovers, we have the Performing Arts Club's "Disney Reimagined" show on May 2, 3, and 4 (see the PAC article for more information). Check with the front desk for ticket information; it's a free show but you must have a ticket to attend. Then for you Loggia Concert lovers, we have a "Diaz De Mayo" concert on May 10 at 5:30 pm. The Bistro will have a Mexican food special to go along with the rest of the party. The showcased band, back by popular demand, is the American Made Band. You don't need tickets for this event, but you are encouraged to dress in your brightest Mexican fiesta wear. Be sure to bring a little pocket money for the Shimmy Mob Dancers, who will be doing a special dance on behalf of domestic violence. Any donations given to the dancers during their performance will go to help local domestic violence centers. Thank you for helping and happy Mother's Day to all of our Four Seasons mothers that weekend. Bingo is back on the second Tuesday of each month (May 13) from 5 to 7 pm in the Ballroom. Mr. Al Gray is taking the helm this time, so come on down and show him support. What a great evening you'll have with a delicious Bistro meal of your choice, the suspense and thrill of bingo, and great company of neighbors! Everyone is welcome. The 20th Anniversary event for this month is "Name That Tune, Four Seasons Style." All of the tunes to be guessed will have one of the four seasons in the song. Karen Belcher is our lively host for the event and, as you well know, her Name that Tune events are always packed, so be sure to get to The Lodge early for your spot. Don't forget to wear your 20th Anniversary T-shirts to add community spirit. We'll be giving out a door prize ticket to everyone who wears their shirt to the game. The winning team prizes will also be special Four Seasons merch. This will be one fun night on Friday, May 16 at 6 pm so I hope to see you at the Ballroom! The Home and Garden Tour on Saturday, May 17 from 10 am to 2 pm is finally back after many years of waiting. This is courtesy of the Garden Club and they have been working tirelessly to ensure that all will go smoothly. The resident gardens on the tour are just gorgeous and will inspire ideas and awe with the masterful designs. The tickets are only $5 each and will go to help support the Garden Club. Check out their article for more details. The Four Seasons Veterans Tile Dedication will be the same day as the event above (May 17). Be sure to come spend a bit of your morning at 10 am with us at the Veteran's Park (near The Summit). This event is the unveiling of the tiles with our Veteran's names on them. It will be a small but meaningful dedication and we hope you can make it. Please be sure to bring a folding chair, so that you'll be comfortable. Finally, we have an Amphitheater Memorial Day Concert on Monday, May 26 at 12 pm. This will be showcasing our homegrown talent from the Musician's Guild including bands like Turtle River, Steve and Friends, and Second Wind. This is a no-cost event and everyone is invited. The Bistro is also trying to rearrange their schedule to include some hamburger and hot dogs grilled on the BBQ. Keep your fingers crossed for their delicious burgers and dogs! Have a wonderful May! ~ Cindy Graves Activities Director's Report
