My beloved grandmother, Pallo, in 1953.
Our family lived in the upstairs apartment
in her house. She helped my mother, who
worked full time, raise me until I was eight
years old. Aer we moved, time with her
during the summers were full of happy

It was to be her last Mother's Day.
