Osaka Castle When we departed from each port (all were so clean), they had groups who sent us off with music, dances, cheers, flags, and banners. Now, the toilets deserve a description of their own. Fortunately, at our orientation before the first port, we were given a heads up. The bathrooms were very clean. The toilets had five to seven buttons on the side. They played music, had warm water baths to cleanse private areas front and back, and heated seats. At my first visit I pressed all the buttons to find the flusher. Since I couldn't find it I called an attendant and pantomimed what I needed. She walked in and pressed the handle in the back. That was not covered in our orientation. We had local talent come aboard to treat us to more culture several evenings before our departures. It was a fantastic experience that I would repeat. I hope you have enjoyed this article and are inspired to try a new utterly charming destination. Konnichiwa, which means good afternoon and shows interest to engage in conversation.
