FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MAY 2025 57 This is the perspective of the artist of the month, Warren White. "I began taking Rob Kelman's Art class back in 2019. As a kid, I always liked to draw but was never formally trained on the do's and do-not's. I went to my room and had fun drawing the pictures I saw in my coloring book. Rob is my rst and only art instructor. One of the things I like most about Rob's class is that I learn something from every one I attend. What I drew and painted for this article comes from a picture Rob shared with me. In this painting, I wanted to capture the relaxing and peaceful feeling of looking at the sunset reecting on the ocean, paired with sand and wind blown palm trees. Learning the dierent techniques of how to use color and shadowing in your art work, is truly amazing. Like me, you don't need the experience one might gain from having previously taken art classes or have a certain set of established skills to join this group. Regardless of the level you are at when you start attending the Mixed Media Art class, you will always be able to gain new knowledge and insight from Rob and our very talented classmates. ank you, Rob, for sharing your decades of experience and talent with all of your students" Classes are Mondays and Fridays from 10 am to 12 noon. If you have any questions, call Rob at (951) 992-9156. ~ Rob Kelman Mixed Media Arts Please join us for healthy crafting classes: create, relax, and enjoy.
