Wine Club
The Sun Lakes Wine Club had its first 2025
event in February in the North Clubhouse.
The event theme was American wines and
it sold out to 80 members and guests.
We sampled six wines, three reds and
three whites. Each table had a bountiful
charcuterie Board filled with sliced meats,
cheeses, grapes, olives, crackers, nuts,
and chocolates. We raff led off one bottle
of each wine to six lucky members. A good
time was had by all.
MAJOR WINE CLUB ANNOUNCEMENT:
The Wine Club is sponsoring a Dinner/Dance to
raise money for the Sun Lakes Charitable Trust. All
Sun Lakes residents are welcome to join in on the fun.
You need not be a member of the Wine Club to attend.
Join us Fri., June 6 at 6 pm in the Main Clubhouse. The theme is
Mardi Gras, with a menu to make a Cajun happy and satisfied.
Each table of eight people will be served two red wines, and two
white wines, each designed to pair with the meal, which will be a
sit-down dinner. The bar will also be open; corkage will be applied
if you wish to bring additional bottles of wine. We will raff le off
baskets filled with all kinds of goodies that you
can win, so bring cash for purchasing tickets.
Don a mask and wear your best Mardi Gras
attire of green, gold and purple to add
to the party ambiance of the decorated
ballroom and tables.
Entertainment will be provided by Sun
Lakes' favorite band …Delaney & James
including their fabulous saxophonist. And
are you ready for this? The price is only $70
per person.
Seats for this fabulous event are on sale

checks must be in a single envelope. Act now; seats
will go quickly.
