April showers bring May f lowers and all the f lowers are in beautiful bloom. My garden looks amazing. Hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed Easter. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our Ides of March event. So sad! I would like to thank Michelle Carter as she was going to host this event and I appreciate her volunteering to chair this. Again, just to let all our members know, I always make sure I have f lyers out to everyone at least a month in advance for our events so that you have time to participate and make plans. May 4: Cinco de Mayo Golf Tournament Scramble (Executive Course); 1:30 pm check-in; 2 pm shot gun; $25 per golfer (includes dinner & prize money). Non-annuals will need to pay green fees at pro shop. No- golfers $15 for dinner only. You may pick your foursome, however, you must have one woman on your team. Dinner will include fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, a green salad, and roll. Entertainment will be provided by Danny J who performs a variety of songs from legends Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., and other well-known musicians. The price for this lovely evening is $24 for members and $27 for guests. If you live in Sun Lakes and are not a member, you can come one time as a guest and then you will want to join.
