and Michele Walter (member names and contact information). Each member
household unit is eligible to receive one copy. Club members may contact Executive
Board members to obtain a copy.
World Cup Tennis continues for the
Sun Lakes Tennis Club on Sat., May 10
starting at 9 am. This is round two of four
total rounds. Four team captains leading
their teams engaged in the first of four
rounds in April that will culminate in July,
and a concluding celebration. New team
members are needed and welcome as we
move through this fun event.
A Four Seasons friendly event will also be held on Sat., May 19, starting at 9
am. Our friends from the Four Seasons Tennis Club have accepted an invitation to
join our own club members for competition and social interaction. Following the
competition, our club will provide hospitality to club members and our guests on
the South Clubhouse patio. On the menu: pizza, salad, beer, wine, and margaritas.
One further activity is on our calendar for the month of May. It is our Sat., May 3,
Mixed Doubles Drop-In Mixer, starting at 8 am. All skill levels are invited to take
part. There is no charge. Tennis balls are provided. This Drop-In Mixer that is held
the first Saturday of each month, is an excellent occasion for new and returning
tennis players to get involved.
