QUILTERS
A special day, but a sad one — on March 24 we bid
farewell to our leader, Linda DiGiovanni. As mentioned
in last month's article, she has moved to Idaho. The
Solera Quilters presented Linda with a quilt which we
made for her. For weeks we conspired to make the
blocks, the rows, and finally put together everything
and have it quilted. It was truly a work of love. We had a
carrot cake, her favorite, and enjoyed a wonderful day of
remembrances. So now, we're all taking turns chairing
the meetings. Each of us has something special to bring
to Mondays. Whoever chairs, we can be sure we'll have
a fun and informative meeting. Keep calm, and quilt on!
