SOLERA DIAMOND VALLEY | JUNE 2025 5

What I have to say may not go well with pet owners, but this
is a problem that needs to be addressed. I am saying this out of
concern for all our residents.
I am a dog owner, and these are the things that I have noticed
that dog owners and community members do.
When you walk your dog, do not let it approach other
community members on a walk. ey may like your dog, but
that does not mean that they want to interact with your dog.
ere may be many reasons for this. It is always an excellent
idea to not approach the dog without asking permission from
the pet owner.
It cost a lot of money to maintain and to repair the damaged
lawn in the common grass area of our beautiful community.
Dogs love to dig and scratch up the lawn. at is what dogs do,
and it is the responsibility of the pet owner to prevent the pet
from doing so.
As pet owners, we like to let our pet loose so they can run
around and have a fun time. But pets should be on a leash any
time they are in a shared area of this community. I have been
on walks by myself and had to deal with dogs running loose
and approaching me. I love my dog; however, I fear other dogs.
So please keep them safe by having them on a leash. is is
good for your pet and for the other community members. Also,
please dispose all pet waste in the pet waste bins and not in any
trash bins.
