On Sat., June 14 starting at 9 am, our Tennis
Club will engage in the third installment of
World Cup 2025. Four teams led by their
Captains will again compete under four
national team titles: Norway (CJ Davis and
Scipia Curtis); USA (Sally Jo Schwartz);
Czech Republic (Tom Whittington); and,
Canada (David Nethercott). Michele Walter
will be recording team scores. These scores,
tallied on a cumulative basis, will lead to
a time for awards and celebration for the
fourth and last contest to be held on Sat., July
12. New players are welcome to sign in for
team play. Spectators are welcome.
In addition, the month of June will include
our Sat., June 7, Mixed Doubles Mixer (free)
at 8 am. Players new to tennis are invited.
Further, our second quarterly meeting is
scheduled for Mon., June 23, at 5 pm in the
South Clubhouse. Following the quarterly
meeting, the club will enjoy a Italian Night
supper. Guests are welcome. However,
members and guests need to register in
advance and pre-pay for the cost for the meal.
