The Executive Men's Golf Club is a proud sponsor of the Sun Lakes Charitable Trust and is sponsoring Hole #13 during the Monster Scramble on Thurs., June 5. Come out and join the fun. The Executive Men's Golf Club is open to all male Sun Lakes residents who are interested in golf, fun, and camaraderie. All levels of players (beginners to experienced) are welcome. We play every Friday morning on the SCGA-rated Executive Course. We meet and check in at the North Clubhouse Pro Shop at 8 am for an 8:30 am shotgun tee time. This month we will have a Two-Man Scramble Computer Pairing tournament on Fri., June 27. Come join us! Dues are only $30 for the year. Membership forms are available in the North Clubhouse Pro Shop or on the EMGC website. You can also contact our membership chairman, Mike Volz, at (818) 310-1950. Join us at the Champion Course every Wednesday for Men's Day. All tournaments for the Men's Club will start at 8 am, Shotgun. The tournament schedule for June 2025 is as follows: Sat., June 14: US Open Tournament, four-man pick your team. Two best balls and score of pro. Wed., June 18, Fri., June 20, and Sat., June 21: Three f lights- Championship, Senior, and Super Senior. This is our Club Championship. It's going to be a busy month with our Club Championship and Charity Week. It's also a great time to go out and see some good golf. The Shoot Out is on June 7 at 9 am starting on hole 10. Follow along in your golf carts or hang out by the greens to see our members and the pros teamed up for an exciting day of golf. Special thanks to everyone who came out for the Beef and Beer event. We had over 100 people participate and there were a lot of new faces. Big thanks to all the ladies for all of their help in making it a great day. The club membership dues ($40) will be collected via personal check, along with the membership application and placed into the Men's Club box located in the Pro Shop. The fees for the SCGA will be $41 for 2025. This can be done at the Pro Shop. We always appreciate all the assistance we receive from the great staff in the Pro Shop. They're a great resource for any of your golfing needs. Men's Golf Executive Men's Golf on Mon., June 2 and go through Sun., June 8. Be sure to get your tickets and have fun supporting Saturday Morning Golf April saw our Beat The Pro tournament. The pros were represented by David Goldstein and Daniel Miller. Don't know if we can print this but Daniel beat David by one stroke! We played against their gross with our net and we ended up with 13 out of the 60 players who signed up for the tournament matching or bettering Daniels gross score with our net. If you'd like to participate in fun tournaments like this or just meet some new people as the summer warms up, we have a dinner coming up and early in the summer will have a potluck.
