Makua Hula Hawaiian Dancers
In Hawaiian, "Happy Father's
Day" is Hau'oli L' Makuak'ne. The
phrase translates directly as "Happy
Day of the Father." Your Makua Hula
Hawaiian Dancers wish all our Sun
Lakes fathers a wonderful day.
Anyone interested in learning Hawaiian Hula dancing is welcome
to join the Makua Hula Dancers every Wednesday at the North
Clubhouse from 10 am to 12 pm. No previous dance experience is
necessary.

June 14: Both President Wilson
in 1916, and President Coolidge
in 1927, issued proclamations
asking for June 14 to be observed
as National Flag Day.
Sun Lakes residents are invited to the Friendship Club to enjoy
Vegas-style entertainment up close and personal. All shows are open
to Sun Lakers for the rest of the year.
We are dark in June due to Charity Week, but plan to join us on
Sun., July 13 for the Nic and Desi show. More info to come.
Tickets for each show are $25 for members, and $30 for non-
resident guests. Doors open at 6 pm with open seating, and the show
begins at 7 pm. Make checks out to Friendship Club and drop them
off at 5168 Rio Bravo Drive. Contact membership chairperson Pam

Season tickets are available. For the price of five shows ($125), you
get six shows. That's one free show! You can use the season tickets
for yourself or your guests. Such a deal! For more information, call

There is always a delicious dinner offered in the Sandwedge before
each show, with overflow seating in the restaurant. Reservations
must be made ahead of time, at (951) 769-6654.
