| OHCC LIVING | JUNE 2025 | 41 Music Lovers Greetings and happy June music lovers! We had a fabulous event last month and we enjoyed all of you that were able to attend. e Villagers Spring Concert was full of people singing, dancing, and enjoying the music, desserts, door prizes and each other. Many thanks to some of my fellow club presidents for sending word out to their members and for the Boomers moving their dinner indoors to Abravanel! anks to all our volunteers who helped make the event a success. We have another Villagers Concert planned this month which will be our last until October. It has been rescheduled since the Music Lovers and Doo Wop Clubs had events scheduled on the same evening of June 13. We don't want people to have to choose between or miss an event! Please join us on the Palm Court: New date: June 20 from 3 to 5 pm. Better get it on your calendar and plan to come out for the sunshine, music, dancing, door prizes and fun with friends. As always, it is open and free to all residents and guests. We are announcing our long-awaited Musical Variety Show in this issue and want everyone to know all about it so you can come out for our advance ticket sales in July. e show, Broadway Hits, is slated for two dates: Sept. 5 at 7 pm and Sept. 6 at 2 pm. Watch the Clubhouse digital board for more details! e fun continues in July and August. Get ready for our July 16 Summer Potluck on the Palm Court with MLC performers during happy hour and a guest band during dinner and dessert. And in August we have our catered summer party on the Palm Court with guest DJ Karaoke. Sign-ups for the potluck and ticket sales for the August party will begin later this month. We are so grateful for everyone's support of our club, and we want to provide the music you want to hear. Please continue letting us know how we can improve our programs, music events and performances. And if you would like to get more involved, our club is in need of a Secretary and a Social Committee Director so come join the fun! To our club members celebrating birthdays this month, we wish you a fabulous birthday and may all your wishes come true.
