10 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JUNE 2025 The T-Shirt Dance was A Big Hit! Did you miss it? On April 13, the 20th Anniversary T-shirt Dance, "Dancing to the Movies," was held! The 20th Anniversary T-Shirt Dance, brought to you by the Recognition Committee and hosted by the charismatic Philip and Elizabeth Westbrook, was an event to remember. The celebration brought together the community for an evening of music from movies commemorating two decades of joyous gatherings and memories. As guests arrived in the Ballroom, they were greeted with a movie display, including popcorn and treats, which set the tone for the festivities. The Westbrooks are well-known figures in the community. Their passion for dance and dedication to bringing people together have made them beloved by all who know them. With their hospitality and infectious enthusiasm, they ensured that every guest felt welcome. Their commitment to fostering a sense of community was evident in every detail of the evening. The dance floor was the heart of the celebration, pulsating with energy and excitement. As the DJ began to play a mix of classic movie hit songs, the crowd could not resist the urge to dance. Couples swirled around the floor, friends formed circles and groups, and the rhythm of the music kept everyone moving. Several notable moments occurred throughout the evening. One of the highlights was when Mrs. Jackie Bott danced a few dances with Phil Westbrook. Mrs. Bott was on the Dick Clark Show when she was 14 years old. She dances her heart out to this day. Another unforgettable moment was learning the party line dance taught by the Westbrooks. The 20th Anniversary T-shirt Dance was not just a party; it was a celebration of life, love, and the bonds that connect us all. In the words of those who were fortunate enough to be part of this fun- filled event, "Oh, what a night!" ~ Regina Farmer, Recognition Committee Roving Reporter and photographer
