FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JUNE 2025 11 By Nancy Ginnetti As one of the founding homeowners at Four Seasons Beaumont, I was recently asked about my journey to Four Seasons Beaumont and what brought me here. Originally from Minnesota, I relocated to Hawaii after graduation. After a year in Hawaii, I was homesick and returned to the mainland. After several moves, I settled in Upland, California, where I worked in administration for Kaiser Permanente for two decades until my husband's transfers necessitated further relocations. Upon his retirement, we settled in Wrightwood, CA, but sought a warmer climate after a harsh winter and discovered an appealing community for individuals aged 55 and over in Beaumont. Despite initial reservations, I have made Four Seasons Beaumont my home for 20 years. Our home acquisition involved a lottery, which we lost initially, but fortuitously a couple ahead declined their house, allowing us to secure it. In November 2004, we signed papers and moved into our home in October 2005. At that time, Highland Springs was an unpaved road leading into the development. The Lodge was completed in July 2006 and the sales office was relocated. During construction, nearby amenities included Albertsons and Kmart. We sought accommodations in Redlands due to the absence of hotels in Beaumont. My husband served as one of the first Board members, with meetings often attended by more than 100 people, characterized by lively discussions and occasional conflict. I later became an ambassador for KHOV, welcoming new owners and informing them about the community. Currently, I serve on the Recognition and Social Committees. Following my husband's passing in 2018, the support from the community was invaluable. In 2023, I remarried and continue to cherish life with my family and community. Volunteers are vital to this community, and I trust they will continue contributing innovative ideas for growth and development. I look forward to another 20 years in Four Seasons Beaumont and can't wait to see what the future brings.
