Tails & Trails - All Pets
Some residents may be new here at Four Seasons and may not be
aware of our Tails and Trails group. We are a group of volunteers
who were established to assist in the safety and overall well-being
of the pets living here at Four Seasons. This includes assisting in
the recovery of lost pets, helping to re-home a pet, if needed, and
conducting pet-related special events.
Recently, we held a free nail trimming event for dogs and cats.
We employed the services of Violet Osborne, a highly respected
groomer. Her daughter, Zophia, was on hand to assist. In total we
served 40 animals — 21 dogs and eight cats. Needless to say, it was
a very busy day!
Most of the animals were very well behaved and their owners
were appreciative of how gently Violet and Zophia managed their
pets. A big thank you to Lynne Kelly Cook for organizing this event
and to Connie Mendoza for also helping out.
Tails and Trails look forward to having more events this year.
