On April 18, Four Seasons HOA hosted a delightful luncheon to honor and appreciate the invaluable contributions of its resolute volunteers. The event was a remarkable occasion, filled with camaraderie, delectable food, and enthralling entertainment, truly reflecting the spirit of community and appreciation. The Ballroom was beautifully decorated with specialty balloons and themed table settings that added a touch of sophistication and excitement to the event. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the perfect backdrop for a day of celebration. FirstService's very own Cindy Graves was the presenter for the event and as usual her wit and commentary kept us laughing and entertained. Volunteers were treated to a meal featuring beef ribs, cooked to perfection, alongside a variety of other delicious dishes. The Bistro culinary team ensured that every bite was a celebration of flavors. The beef ribs were undoubtedly the highlight of the menu, receiving rave reviews — and the wine was not bad either. Bob Ferrier, long-time volunteer, said, "I can't believe we are getting ribs!" The luncheon was also filled with fun surprises that kept the volunteers engaged and delighted. One of the most anticipated segments of the event was a spectacular magic show. The magician captivated the audience with a series of tricks and illusions. The performance was interactive, allowing volunteers to participate and experience the magic up close along with plenty of laughter. Highlighted by the mathematics of our very own CFO Barry Ginnetti when asked by the magician to read off the numbers on a dollar bill assisted by our BOD Secretary Gracy Luna. Barry rose to his feet and said "Wait, I may have a number wrong." Let me just say you would have had to be there for that one. One of the highlights of the luncheon was the recognition of volunteers' efforts and achievements, Karen Belcher was recognized as Entertainer of the Year which was well deserved for all she does for our community. Another highlight was the Happy Birthday song dedicated to Alton Gray; we are not sure of his age, but he claims to be at least 55 years old. The luncheon served as an excellent opportunity for volunteers to connect, share experiences, and strengthen bonds. Many volunteers expressed their gratitude for the event, noting how it reinforced their commitment to the community and inspired them to continue their efforts. The successful event celebrated the spirit of volunteerism, brought joy to the attendees, and highlighted the HOA's dedication to fostering a supportive and appreciative community. ~ Regina Farmer, Recognition Committee Roving Reporter and photographer 8 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JUNE 2025
