Welcome to July! Can you believe how fast time f lies?
Summer is a third of the way over. The heat is here, time
to escape to the beach or the mountains.
Happy Campers annual trip to Bonelli Bluffs is in the
books. This year there were a few challenges with the
parks electricity and the chilly weather, but we were still able to
have a good time. Lots of great food, corn hole and campfires!
Once again Juliane and Larry Sandberg did a great job as our Trail
Bosses.
Our next trip is coming up no Nov. 2 and we will be at Santee
Lakes. This park is in San Diego County and it has cabins and
RV sites. There are seven stocked fishing lakes, a Clubhouse,
swimming pool and great trails to hike or ride your
bikes.
We have our dates for Quartzite AZ in January and
currently signing up for Borrego Springs in February.
If any of these trips peak your interest come on down
to the Clubhouse and sit in on one of our meetings.
Happy Campers meets the first Saturday of the month at 10 am.
We meet in the Game Room — you can't miss it, just follow the
laughter.
We have a lot of friends out on the road during the summer
months so we wish everyone safe travels and Happy Camping.
