What a wonderful month it has been! We
have had several new members join us and,
sad to say, a few moving out of the state.
Our recipient list continues to grow.
With our proceeds from our in-house
raffle and rummage sale, we were able
to go to Joanne's before they closed. Our
President Lorna and a few others went and
filled the back seats and trunks of their
cars.
A very nice man came by after just losing
his wife and wanted us to have what she had
been working on so we could finish them.
He said he heard about us in the Courier.
Our Military Liaison Susan went to
March Air Reserve and was welcomed with
smiles and joy over the items she took for
them. Another organization, Needle Me
in Hemet, sent over 25 crocheted baby
blankets for our recipients. We are so
amazed at the generosity we receive from
many different groups wanting to help in
our goal to help those in need of our items
made with love and compassion.

in the Civic Hall at 26601 Cherry Hills
Boulevard in Sun City, from 11 am to 3 pm.
We gladly accept all donations of yarn, latch
hook, embroidery, beads supplies, etc. We
are "KNOT" just knitters and crocheters!
