Every year, the Fourth of July brings with it a spirit of joy, unity, and remembrance. Across communities, neighbors come together to honor the nation's independence, sharing laughter, traditions, and a sense of belonging that transcends generations. From the waving of flags to the sparkle of fireworks in the evening sky, the holiday serves as a vibrant tapestry woven from moments of celebration and camaraderie. This year's celebration at Four Seasons Beaumont reflected this same joy and unity with a dazzling display of community pride. The day started with an early-morning golf cart parade. More than 50 vehicles, each embracing the colors of vibrant red, white, and blue! The carts rolled through the neighborhood, their drivers beaming with anticipation— a snare drum could be heard beating a military march, banners fluttered, streamers danced in the breeze, and the sound of cheers echoed along the route as neighbors admired the creative efforts on display. Excitement mounted as participants awaited the judging for best entry, making the parade not just a spectacle, but a spirited contest that set the tone for a festive day ahead. At 11 am, The Lodge opened its doors and welcomed residents, who were greeted by Nancy, Irene, and Regina from the 20th Anniversary Committee, selling T-shirts. This occasion also marked the final opportunity for homeowners to purchase commemorative T-shirts. As attendees arrived, many brought potluck dishes, forming a line that extended throughout the Lobby. Once the Ballroom doors opened, a country western band began playing and many took to the dance floor. The band, Lefty Martin and His Right Hand Band is one of the best country western bands I have heard at The Lodge. Meanwhile, the Bistro moved their restaurant outside and grilled hot dogs, hamburgers, and ribs. Inside, tables were lined with classic sides — potato salad, pasta, and baked beans. The dessert table had both homemade specialties and store- bought confections, ensuring there was something to satisfy every sweet tooth. The afternoon continued with a pool party, highlighted by the playful involvement of "Uncle Sam," (the blow-up floaty) who was "rescued" by community members Bonnie, Margie, and Mona. Additional activities included a Cake Walk and concluded with a spectacular light display at The Summit. Overall, the event was distinguished by its vibrant atmosphere, enjoyable entertainment, and opportunities for community connection. Special recognition is extended to Cindy Graves and the FirstService team for their excellent coordination and dedication to making the day memorable. For those unable to attend, we invite you to enjoy the event's photo gallery and look forward to seeing you next year. ~ Regina Farmer, Recognition Committee Roving Reporter and photographer 8 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | AUGUST 2025 20th Anniversary Events Aug. 15: Gail's Games Sept. 21: Amphitheater Grand Finale Sept. 9: In-N-Out Ticket Sales Sept. 9, 12 noon, The Lodge Lobby: Tickets for In-N-Out burgers on sale for $10 per person (limit six) for the Oct. 4 parade and celebration.
