| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | AUGUST 2025 | 23 We've had an active past three months of staying happy, energized, and supporting our community. Starting with May, we treated ourselves to a Mother's Day luncheon at Pechanga's Journey's End organized by Julie Rodriguez. If you haven't eaten there it is an absolute must place to eat. e second Friday of the month we meet in the Game Room for Fun Friday. Lynne Aries and the weekly Wednesday players of Hand and Foot joined us in May and taught us how to play. e experienced players were awesome and our game time was enjoyed by all. If you never played Hand & Foot, join them on Wednesdays — they're a fun group of players. In June we pampered ourselves. Debbie Foster organized our Breathwork, 45 minutes of relaxation and stress reduction meditation. e Aerobic Room was transformed into a calm and serene setting with so lighting. Debbie provided us with lemon water and delicious healthy cookies. Kristine Chilcote brought us together in June to Phil's BBQ and aerwards we went to Trader Joe's in Murrieta. We walked through all the aisles filling our baskets. e parking was wonderful, plenty of bigger spaces. July, lunch was waiting for us in the Game Room before we started our Fun Friday. Jacque Wigle and Debbie Foster always do a great job with the game planning. Aer our social-lunch time together we played Nickels and the lucky winners got to pick a prize of their choice from the prize table. On July 17, we all carpooled to Idyllwild to beat the heat. Kristine Chilcote planned our trip starting with lunch at Restaurant Gastrognome and then we were free to shop at e Fort, a multilevel outdoor shopping center. It was a day filled with fun. Debbie Foster will be coordinating the August event. We've asked Larry Foster to return for another Drum Circle. In this event, Larry provides drums and has us participate in drum rolling. What a perfect suggestion, to be indoors with air conditioning on a hot summer day. We have a wonderful group of ladies who live here and we'd love to have you join us on Mon., Aug. 25, at 1:15 pm in the Ballroom as we discuss and make plans for September, and you can even bring a friend. We can never have too many friends. For more information, call Julie Rodriguez at (951) 821-1970. Our Motto: Have Fun, Be Positive, Staying Energized and Giving Back to the Community anks for being our friend. Golden Girls' Ladies Club
