Needle Me
Charity Crochet & Knitting
A couple of months ago, we did an article about Charity Crochet
and Knitting. One of our residents read the article and called to
mention that she had a few baby afghans she would like to donate.
Boy, were we surprised when she and her husband showed up
with boxes full of beautiful baby afghans, which are featured in
the accompanying picture to this article.
e blankets were delivered to the Senior Knitters & Crocheters
of Menifee group to be donated to various charities, and they were
extremely pleased to accept such a generous donation. ank you
to Carol McKindley for all your hard work and generosity, and to
Merilyn Burnside for transporting the blankets to the group in
Menifee.
We meet on the first and fourth Friday of each month in the
Arts & Cras Room at 1 pm. We welcome anyone to stop by and
see what the ladies are working on, or perhaps bring a sample of
your own handiwork to show off. We love to socialize while our
hands are working. If you have any questions or would like more
