FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | SEPTEMBER 2025 29 Social Committee "Tropical Paradise" … What a wonderful evening! The buffet was beautiful and delicious! The Ballroom decoration was amazing! Elaine Recchion and the volunteers did a fabulous job making the most of the generous decorations donated by Jeff Shepard of Haven Pet Center. Howard Keith and Elaine went to the storage unit of Haven Pet Center and brought back all those huge, beautiful trees and other decorations to Four Seasons. Thank you to all the volunteers who made this event possible. Pictured at right are some of the volunteers who attended the luau: Cheryl Calderon, Nancy Ginnetti, Lisa Johnson, Elaine Recchion, DeAne Nottingham, Denise Culley, Becky Sanchez, and Thelma Towner. But as they say, "It takes a village." The entertainment was fantastic! Thank you to all the men who dared to try Polynesian dancing! The next event will be a professional magician. "Magical Evening" will feature Anthony Hernandez. The date is Saturday, Sept. 20. Tickets go on sale on Tuesday, Aug. 19 in The Lodge from 9 to 10:30 am. The cost is only $25 per person. Some of his clients include American Airlines, Toys R Us, Soboba Casino, San Manuel Casino, Pearson Park Amphitheater, the State Theatre of Modesto, Disney Cruise Lines, and the Marriott Corporation. You are guaranteed to remember this event for a long time! Our last event of the year will be "A New York New Year's Eve." This year, we will have a show band recommended by Mark Lassen. They are called Jolly Corks. They are a five-piece tribute band covering multiple decades, featuring a female lead vocalist, a male co-lead vocalist, bassist, keyboards, guitars, and drums. They perform hits from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s and current rock, pop, funk, and blues. They're sure to play one of your favorites! The caterer will be Anne Taylor, once again serving appetizers as we enter the Ballroom. The photographer will be JB Photo, who will bring lots of fun props to capture the mood of the evening. Tickets go on sale on Dec. 2 in the Ballroom from 9 to 11 am. There will be assigned seating. Doors open at 5 pm with appetizers and champagne. The band will play from 7 to 10 pm. We will celebrate the new year at 9 pm.
