Our Wednesday paddle tennis group playing and enjoying social hour 60 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | SEPTEMBER 2025 Fall is in the air and so is table tennis! The seasons come and go but table tennis continues six days a week with a total of 312 days of play. It has been at Four Seasons for 17 plus years. It never changes — only the players do. We are a friendly, energetic group of players and look forward to seeing new faces. Come on over to The Courts on any day Monday through Saturday from 2 to 4 pm and see what the excitement and fun is all about. You may decide that Ping Pong is the perfect exercise for you! For more information, contact Mary Baer. ~ Mary Baer, baerhuggy@icloud.com Table Tennis The weather may be hot, but the lawn chair volleyball action is chill. We play volleyball on The Lodge lawn area between the pickleball and paddle tennis courts on the second and fourth Thursday of every month. We will begin play in the late afternoon from about 5:30 pm until sunset. All you need to play the sport of lawn chair volleyball is a sturdy lawn chair and a desire to laugh with your neighbors at Four Seasons Beaumont. Our club has only two rules: you can't get out of your chair during play, and you MUST HAVE FUN. If you're looking for a club where you can partake in a bit of friendly competition with very little physical exertion, come check us out. And bring your guests along. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun. This month we are trying to recruit enough participants to form at least three teams to compete in the Four Seasons Beaumont Senior Oldlympics in September, so join us for a chance to win a gold medal. We have teams in Men's and Women's doubles along with Men's and Women's singles. This will be filled with lots of fun and competitive teams. Games will be held on Sept. 6 starting at 8:30 am. Members participating are Lizzie, Josie, Bernadette Chance, Laura Burton, Laura Emerson, Tracy Mahan, Beverly, Howard, Stan, Richard, Robert, Tracy Maxwell, Steve, Perry and Hailu. Membership is not required to play paddle. Come over and we will get you checked out on the game and you can play on your own time. One group plays on Wednesdays at 5:30 pm and we gather for a social hour after play is over. Others play various week and weekend days. We know if we have enough players via WhatsApp. If you'd like to join us let me know and we can add your name to the app. We would love to have you join us. ~ Lizzie Gallegos, ecgallegos@outlook.com Paddle Tennis Bocce Ball is played at The Summit twice a week. Scheduled times are Tuesday and Friday at 8 am. Summer is here and our start time is earlier. Interest is steadily increasing as new players try this game. We've been having good turnouts even as the weather warms up. Thanks to everyone for your continued support of our group. Bocce Ball requires no special skills and everyone is welcome.
