Sta Anniversaries: is month we have the honor of celebrating our very own Maricruz Salazar for her 13 years of dedicated service to this community. She is an incredible person and an irreplaceable asset to this community and the sta. She makes sure that our business is running strong and that the committees, sta, and Board are taken care of. She has a heart for this community. So, please wish her well and thank her for her years of service to the community when you see her. Budget in Full Swing: You may not be aware, but we are in the middle of our Budget season for next scal year's budget. It is a long, arduous process that involves many great minds from Committees such as: Facilities, Finance, Landscape, and our newest Capital Improvements as well as members of the Board. ey have put in so many hours putting the budget together. eir purpose is to used historical data from previous years as well as actual data from this year and forecast spending for the rest of the year to then put together a plan for the spending for next year. While working on this, with the price of materials and maintenance/labor going up, there is a good chance that this will mean an increase in assessment dues. e Budget Committee has been working to keep any increase as minimal impact as possible. It's thanks to our wonderful committees that we are able to enjoy comparably low dues when compared to other similar sized associations. ey dedicate so many hours as VOLUNTEERS because they care about this community. Please thank a committee member if you see them for all the work that they put into this community. Final Notes for September: With summer winding down, I wanted to thank everyone for making this a great summer at Four Seasons. We had few negative interactions in enforcing the rules for the pool and many people were understanding and friendly. ank you all for making this community awesome and a great place to live. As we leave summer and step into fall, keep in mind that the heat is still here, so please stay hydrated and cool! Have a great September and a safe Labor Day! By Jon Payne, CMCA With September being National Senior Center Month, I want to recognize the vital role senior centers play in improving the lives of older adults and strengthening our communities. is year's theme, "Powering Possibilities: Flip the Script," challenges stereotypes about aging while celebrating the contributions of older adults and the centers that serve them. Across the nation, senior centers serve as lively community hubs that connect older adults to vital services. Here in the Fih District, we proudly have ve active senior centers: Moreno Valley, San Jacinto, Calimesa, Beaumont, and Banning. If you haven't already, please visit your local senior center and take advantage of their activities and resources. It's a great way to engage with your community.
