We invite you to visit the Main Clubhouse Ballroom on Sat., Sept. 13, from 11 a, to 2 pm. Please stop by to meet our artists, see their many talents, and participate in free door prize drawings for original artwork. Some artists will also have pieces for sale. Many thanks to our August artist, Steve McGill, who provided a wonderful demonstration and followed up with three fun, informative, and challenging classes. In September, we will offer a one-day workshop as we prepare for ART WALK. Be sure to attend our general meeting on Sun., Sept. 14, at 2 pm in the South Clubhouse. Refreshments will be served, and you' re invited to cast a vote in our mini art show. We' d love to meet you and give you a taste of what our club offers. We are hosting a one- session workshop with multimedia artist Patti Schwebach on Mon., Sept. 22 from 9 am to 12 noon in the Main Clubhouse Arts & Crafts Room. Cost is $10. She will also demonstrate at the Sept. 14 meeting — be sure to check it out! This might be the art outlet you' re looking for. Looking ahead to October, our guest artist and teacher will be western artist and portraitist Chuck McCracken. Classes remain affordable at $30 for members and $35 for non-members for nine hours of instruction. More details will be provided soon. Membership remains at $20 for the year. We always welcome new members, from beginners to advanced artists, and anyone who loves art.
