28 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | SEPTEMBER 2025 | On Sept. 14, The Friendship Club presents a fabulous double bill featuring violinist Janice Martin and stand-up comedian Kevin Flynn. Janice is an award-winning entertainer who has appeared on "America's Got Talent" and other television shows. She has performed at the White House, soloed with the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Boston Pops, and has performed in many of the world's greatest halls including Carnegie Hall. Janice is a vocalist and multi-instrumental virtuoso (violin, piano, and more) who also boasts a unique act of playing the violin while performing aerial acrobatics. Her display of talents has astounded audiences worldwide. Actor, writer, producer, and stand-up comedian Kevin Flynn has made numerous television and film appearances alongside the likes of Ben Stiller, Jim Carrey, Bill Murray, and as one of Charlotte's most popular boyfriends on HBO's Sex and the City. A former professional soccer player, Flynn hosted shows for ESPN, FOX Sports, and the Discovery Channel. He is currently touring with his one-man autobiographical play, "Fear of Heights," a heartwarming and hilarious tale of growing up in a close-knit Irish family of hardscrabble iron workers. When not on the road touring Kevin is the Founder and Executive Director of the Nantucket Comedy Festival in support of The Standup & Learn kids' program. Sun Lakes residents are invited to The Friendship Club to enjoy Vegas-style entertainment up close and personal. ALL SHOWS ARE OPEN TO SUN LAKERS FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR. Tickets for each show are $25 for members and $30 for guests. Doors open at 6 pm with open seating and the show begins at 7 pm.
