THE YIDDISH CULTURE CLUB WELCOMES ALL RESIDENTS OF ANY DENOMINATION

Please join the Yiddish Culture Club Sept. 25, 6 pm in the South
Clubhouse as we celebrate Rosh Hashanah and welcome the New
Year 5785. Rosh Hashanah, literally translates to "head of the year,"
marks the beginning of the Jewish year. The two-day festival is
a time of serious introspection, personal growth, and spiritual
rebirth. Rosh Hashanah is completely interfaith.
Entertainment: Gerry Phelps will be presenting her vignette
"Breath." After dinner our featured speaker is Jerry Rishe with
his lecture "The protocols of the learned elders of Zion." Menu
includes; green salad with dressing, challah, choice of baked
chicken or salmon, roasted red potatoes, green beans almondine,
honey and apple, strawberry shortcake for dessert. Please indicate
your selection of the main dish on your registration. Reservations
due by noon on Thurs., Sept. 18, at the home of Denny Rugenstein,
5052 Hilton Head. $27 pp member/$35 pp guest – there will be
tables of eight. Please deliver your check made out to the YCC.
